About the Partnership
With rapid expansion and preparation for IPO, comes new challenges for leaders and HR. With offices spread across multiple countries and as many new employees came aboard, senior stakeholders wanted to ensure that loyalty and employee experience remained high, as well as having insight and data into the habits of their new people.
Using the connecting power of sport, Leaders recognised that team collaboration and communication was about more than onboarding admin, but needed teams to connect with each other in a more personal way in order to boost performance and productivity.
The Challenge
Global workforce: As inDrive expanded across more than 30 countries, the challenge was to create team-building activities that could bridge cultural differences and unite employees, all while promoting health and wellbeing. 聽
Accessible & inclusive: The company wanted an easy-to-organise solution that would engage both seasoned staff and newcomers.
Connected colleagues: The goal was to strengthen company culture, enhance team connection, and promote loyalty as the company continued its rapid growth.
The Solution
Fully branded UX: For the second year running, InDrive used 海角社区app鈥檚 platform, where employees logged into a branded app that synced their activities via Google Fit or Apple Health.
Points-based: Activities were automatically converted into points for a shared team goal, which helped foster a sense of unity. Weekly personal challenges, team rankings, and real-time progress updates kept everyone engaged.
Transparency: The visual features of the app鈥攚here employees could see their colleagues鈥 daily and weekly results鈥攃reated a fun, competitive atmosphere.聽
The Results
Through this initiative, inDrive successfully fostered a culture of wellness and connection, helping employees feel more engaged, supported, and aligned with company values across all their diverse locations.
Stronger communication: Employees started sharing their experiences, supporting one another, and building relationships across teams.
Increased social interaction: The app became a hub for informal conversations, creating stronger bonds within the team.
Volunteering culture: Many colleagues were inspired to become sports volunteers, adding another layer of connection and mutual support.

After our first challenge with this platform last year, we had a real 'aha' moment. We realised that we could host these events anywhere鈥攁ny city, any country. We made a little corporate film to capture the year鈥檚 highlights and hopefully, it鈥檒l inspire even more employees to jump into the challenge next year.
